    Currently I am running at 610/1980 and my highest load temps have been 71C on Oblivion. Playing COH or SupCom doesn't even break 65C.

    I've encountered a problem on my friend's rig where he would idle at 40C with an overclocked e6400 and when he would load the CPU using TAT, it would have a load temp of 70C+. That seems highly unusual considering his idle temps are perfect considering the overclock and the vcore (1.325)...

    TAT shows 40c, is this okay?

    I've got my e6300 overclocked to 2.35ghz with TAT temps of 33C. I've found that TAT gives pretty accurate readings....or at the very least, temps from which are usually the highest.

    I will mess around with the texture quality. I do not like how nvidia launched their 8800 series of cards with drivers that are absolute garbage. What a great way to make money ..... but what a crappy way to treat their customers.

    I am using the 8800gts at stock settings and I have artifacts on my screen. I did do some overclocking so maybe I permananelty damaged my card. I doubt it because the overclock was mild anyways. +10mhz, etc.
