After continuing to read too many negative reviews on the Striker I ended up going with the "early results promising, but completely brand new" Abit IN9 32X MAX 680i board. Was just delivered this afternoon, Woot! Looking forward to spending some quality time with it this weekend...

Techonweb didn't actually have any stock. Lots of the price search engines seem to have stock wrong. I know the current cost at the big national distributers that many of the websites out there buy from is around $315 at single quantity. Obviously buying quantity would reduce that...
