    AIM disconnects often in Vista

    Vista hated my old router. Got a new "vista approved" router and all those problems went away. Seems silly, but it worked. And the money spent on the new router was well worth not having to deal with disconnects anymore. Though, now I'm back on XP, lol.

    I saw that double line mod as well, guess I may give that a shot..... I did the vcore mod to 1.55, bios and cpuz show 1.42. I hadn't though about the pcie bus though... think my msi 8800 gt oc would handle that?

    all of the combos come with ECS boards with little to no OC'ing features, but I figure those numbers, for the intel chips should be attainable. I could also purchase a $60 abit board in the future if I want a tiny boost in speed.....

    Fair enough, e2180 system would come with a nicer motherboard, but its just a motherboard.... if it holds all my crap and runs, i'm happy. i think i'm set the with 5200 system, pocket the $70 for the next upgrade. i just don't see the boost from 5200 -> e6600 with the extra cost.

    my first system was a celeron 300a @ 464. ah the memories, lol. i have no problem with overclocking as long as it is worth it. but if $70 more is only going to net me AMD 6000+ speeds, then we're talking about a 10% difference for an almost 70% price increase.

    this is for games only, and really, just call of duty 4 and starcraft II when it comes out. bugdet is as cheap as possible, heh. ram is $20 AR. case is $20 after rebate. I can pick up a SATA hard drive for about $60. i'd like to keep the cpu/mobo/video card as close to about $300 as possible.

    I want full screen flash video (like youtube) on one screen while I work on the other screen. But everytime I click on the other screen, my full screen video closes down. Any way to fix this? It's Vista with Firefox and the latest version of Flash player installed.

    It's a new cyan cartridge with plenty of ink so that's not it. View printer status doesn't work for me for some reason, I think it's Vista. Though I don't think it's a software setting b/c the same hue occurs when I print directly from the camera via pictbridge.

    Nozzle check prints perfectly. I don't think it's the paper. The reddish hue happens on plain paper as well as photo paper.
