My experience with calorie deficiency for weight loss.

Its not a long post, so I Did read the whole thing, and he does exercise. Don't be afraid to start building muscle right away though. It helps to burn fat even faster. Sounds like your doing a good job at staying healthy, and listening to what your body needs. Keep up the good work.

POLL - Problems with 6800 series cards

I have a gainward 6800, so I didn't vote. The stock cooler (dual Slot) is very good, but loud. I understand that their latest expert utility has a fan throttle, but I have not tried it because I just switched over to water cooling. The gainward is a good card, and with gainwards utility...

6800 cloning image during boot

All 6800's do this from what I have seen (from 3 different brands so far) I had an Asus 4200 that did this also, but a PNY that didn't. I think it all varies on how the card's bios is setup. So there is not a lot to do about it. Is it really that bad to see how much memory you have on...

A little help with redhat 7.1 (fisher)

Thanks soybomb, I will give that a try. Do by any chance know what the new and old clients are called? Tony- All I did was go to redhat's ftp and download the ISO's. They are under the beta section. Fisher is built with the 2.4 kernel.

A little help with redhat 7.1 (fisher)

I need some guidence on how to change out the DHCP client under redhat. With their new client that they are using (starting with 7 I think) The DHCP server here on campus will refuse to give me an IP address. I talked to the local network guru and he told me to switch back to their old client...

Anyone here running Solaris 8?

I have Solaris 8 on a testing machine, I havent really had a chance to play around with it as much as I wish, but the install went through with ease. I am really impressed with the install process and all of the hardware it supports. Good job SUN.

fong kai 320 fan question---- what size can i put in it?

The mount that comes with the case fits both a 92mm fan or a 120mm fan. If you are planning on using a 120 don't sit too close to the computer. It gets loud.

OT whats the deal with SB 5.1?

I just got an x-gamer 5.1 to go with my DTT2500 speakers. I am not really seeing any change in the card. I was thinking it would output 5.1 sound for everything. I can't even get it to work right with 4 speakers. During the speaker test it only has sound comming out of the 2 front speakers...

What's the deal with the Duron and FIC?

yep. I have an AZ 11 with a duron 600@850. It would be a lot nicer if the switches were just on the board, but it works. You can go to overclockers.com to find out how to make your own switches.

How many have used and overclocked a celeron II on an ABIT BX6 rev2? I am using an abit slotket!!! and an Alpha heatsink. 1.75V For some reason setting it at 850 will come up with an error saying that the processor has been changed or is unworkable. From there I proceed to go into the bios...

Aopen HQ-08 vs InWin Q500

The selling point for me on the Q500 was TWO HD lights.. yes two. One for onboard ide and the other for controller cards. Maybe im just easily entertained by blinking lights........

Athlon cooling

in my case, i found the best combo to have air sucked into the front via fan. cool air comes in over processor and then is sucked out via another fan mounted on back of case. kind of like a wind tunnel, just not as sophisticated.

i have a set of FPS 1000 speakers that are paired up with an MX300. The sound quality is exelent, no complaints there, the only thing is that after i am not doing anything on my computer for about 5-10 minutes the speakers make a loud POP. don't know why, any ideas? thanks,

it was my understanding that that little layer of blue stuff was the only thing keeping the big nasty HS/Fan from crunching the actual core. now you want to get rid of it?
