Don't they make RPG games to last anymore?

Bethesda has just purchased the rights to Fallout, which means Fallout 3. If Bethesda are developing the title it will probably get released for some consoles too.

I second that - Oblivion rocks! I've spent about 60 hours doing all sorts of non-main quests. I love this game, it goes for a long, long time. And they haven't even released expansions yet!

I already reformatted the hard drive and installed Windows. Would it make a difference if I ran Scandisk and then reformatted?

Thanks for the reply. I stuck in a new hardrive that I know is good and the Windows Registry Checker still keep popping up. The same happened when I replaced the RAM. I'd bet my life that it's a problem with the motherboard. It's time to scavenge any decent parts off this machine and scrap...

I'm pretty sure that it's the power supply. I've come across a few other articles that discuss a damaged PSU that emits a quiet humming. I'll be getting a new PSU over the next few days. I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks a lot for the suggestions and feedback.

PC won't turn on - PSU or Mobo?

Well, it's not the video card. I pulled that out and it still didn't boot. I noticed that when the system is plugged in it makes a very, very quiet and high pitched electronic hum. I'm not sure whether it did this before. Does this indicate anything about the PSU? Any help is appreciated :)
