I believe that there is a recall on that particular model for the issue. You would have to contact HP about that.

I wouldn't say that I am Doomed to use Ubuntu, I have my pick of the litter here... I am setting up the network personally and just needed some input on what most people would suggest. I have a choice of Gentoo, Mandriva, SUSE, Novell (only for the servers), Red Hat Fedora Core, or Linspire...

Which would you pick?

I am a Windows User, I have used both of the Linux Distros that I am asking about for personal use and for business use. But they were old versions... I also had to uninstall them after a while for incompatibility with the servers at both locations. More so at the Business level then at home...

Defending the PS3

I'm not one to support Microsoft, and I have never really like the Nintendo Systems, The Sony Playstation 1 killed it for me when it came to them... I was using the Dreamcast when the PS2 came out and was very happy with.... Now I am not Microsoft supporter but when Sega sold all console designs...

Federal lawsuit over iTunes/iPod monopoly

I am sorry but, I do not see iTunes as a Monopoly... Granted yes they control over 75% of the legal music, and Videos. But there are several other alternative to iTunes. Napster for (cough, crap), or there is the legal version of Limewire, or all the other ones out there... But there is no way...

Am i the only one who isn't in a good mood because of Saddam getting hanged?

What are the best overclocking CPU's of all time?

For those who think that the speed ratings are made up. Think about this PC150, and 5.5x multiplier. With a Watercooler to keep it cool, I was able to get it to 950MHz (not 975MHz like I had listed, sorry about that)... My guys at the lab handed me a couple of AMD Athlon 5600+'s on...

Okay thank you for clearing that up for me... I knew that something was different about the two. I was wondering why AMD would offer two CPU's that are the same in every way, under two different Names and ask almost TWICE the Price for the one.

What are the best overclocking CPU's of all time?

The one CPU that I was able to Over clock consistently was the AMD K6-2 line.. Here is a list of the CPU's that I have over clocked: AMDs: K6-2 300MHz - OCed to 600MHz Stable K6-2 400MHz - OCed to 750MHz Stable (800MHz was only stable with a water cooler) K6-2 500MHz - OCed to 975MHz...

Opteron vs. the Athlon FX-62

Could someone please tell me what the difference is between these two chips. Other than that one is meant for Gaming and the other Workstations/Servers... I took a look at the CPU's Cores and they look alike in just about every way... Hell even the CPU designs look the same to me on paper...
