Any chance you can tell us more details of what you say you did? I have 7800gs and same board, I cannot run Vista, when I install any drivers from nvidia or (havent seen vista driver from BFG yet) I canot see my logon icons, I cant see the screens or windows when "Protected mode" asks you to...

Anyone having luck with this board, the AGP 7800gs, and drivers? seems if I run the latest driver from Nvidia, I cannot see the "protected mode" popups and other issues, like logon screen appears interlaced yet blanked on each other lace at the bottom and during the pasword typing, you cannot...

How Microsoft screwed the Action Pack subscribers.

what all else came with the action pack supb? ANYONE? I was about to plunk the 321 (with tax) but holding off until I find out what all you get, especially iff i start today... FWIW, the site, has links that say "see this and that but I kept getting the have to be a member. I filled out...

Upgrade AGP or ditch it?

if you had one or the other, good AGP card already, I would say get what I got... find my posts here... http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=31&threadid=1981436 nice not expensive mother board. you get more out of higher end AGP this way.

I know where you are coming from, but I was not as much sentimental as, well tighter with money than many. heheheh. Like these guys keep saying, give it a try, at worst you might have to find a bigger powersupply, and make sure whomever you get the PS from, they know it is for A DELL...

2 things: 1st off, the pc 400 (ddr) ram is what I am still using in this DUAL VSTA board, I could do DDR2, but differences by most accounts would be slight for the money difference, (meaning I already owned the ddr, would have to sell at a loss and buy ddr2 which is not free...) I dont...

Gateway 24" FPD2485W - First Impressions

Hey, I got to ask, only because I was or am ready to buy me one of those 2185w's from somewhere, I saw them side by side at the bestbuy (all 3, the 21, 22 & 24) and there is no way I shelling out over $600 for a monitor, I just can not justify that with other things I do so much like to do...

if my "off board" buddies stumble across this, they are going to say Plowboy and his broken record... Let me tell you my experience, and you decide what you would do... I have a 2.4ghz p4, on an OLD motherboard, that when I 1st bought this system, it I had the geforce2 mx 32 meg card...
