I switched to Active Disk Image Professional about a year ago after having a few failures with Acronis True Image. I Image weekly and have not had any problems with Active Disk Image.

Check the firmware on your DVD Player that it supports Windows 7, same thing happened to me after first boot it could no longer read the drive to finish the installation. I found and flashed the player with updated firmware and then after the first boot it continued the installation fine.
I found A good alternative to Nero is BurnAware Pro I've been using it for years, its lite and is a quality App. they also have a free version with limitations.

I have the same problem BIOS booting screen freezes while detecting USB Drive, it started after some Windows updates were installed I been having a difficult time figuring it out,There were several security updates.

Thanks for the heads up on the LG monitor I didn't see it had a problem with input lag, Just read the Newegg reviews. another monitor I am considering is The Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP-HC 24-inch the few reviews I've read on it were good. Ive never heard of Soyo? I will have to check it out.
This one is better than both of them I would stay away from SAMSUNG I have the SyncMaster 205BW and have problems with it I RMAed it and the remanufactured one they replaced it with has problems to the screen flickers the stand is weak and the viewing angle is horrible I would never buy...
The Enzotech Ultra-X IMO is one of the top 4 air coolers on the market and does not get the recognition it deserves other than users on the forums .
But all I can say is I am sure happy with it.
You can go to Control panel then folder options and under the view tab uncheck: automatically search for network folders and printers.
this will help speed up.

Buying the Enzotech Ultra-X was the best $60.00 I spent on a HSF., it is a excellent cooler
my Idle temps are 31c and load temps 52 with TAT.
I used Artic Cool MX-1 thermal paste for better results than the AS5 that comes with the HSF.

the 6 pin connector is to plug into a card that has a 6 pin connection on it . it does not plug into the motherboard
and the 4 pin molex on the motherboard is to supply extra power when using a PCI express card that consumes up to 75W other wise you dont need it.
I don't have it plugged in...
