Whats the trick to running stable with all 4 dimm's full?

Cannot get past 2.55GHz with E4300?

make sure you are running your memory at 1:1 otherwise your PC might be crashing because your memory is way too fast

Has anyone overclocked Fry's combo P4M800PRO and 4300?

Fry's combo, the E4300, has been reported not very overclocable. The retail CPU is great for overclocking, but not the tray CPU at Fry's. Maybe that is why they sell them as tray CPU... The mobo that is bundled with E4300 isn't a good mobo to OC with. 300FSB is the best you can get out of...

link fixed. 1.55v on CPU at 3.73Ghz, but because of vdroop, the mobo only gets 1.50v prime tested for 10 mins i know, i should have test longer :D i'll do it tonite

I can't get my rig to run any faster.... It's not that I'm not satisfy with the speed, but I think I've hit the limit on this mobo. My Patriot DDR2 1066 hit 1200MHz on 2.5v, so it's not the memory which is holding the speed. It might be the mobo, or the proc....which one is it.... And...

E4300 vs. E6300/6400

E4300 : 200FSB x 9 = 1.800GHz E6300 : 266FSB x 7 = 1.866GHz at STOCK setting, E6300 is faster by 6% since it has 0.066Ghz more speed. If you set your E4300 to 266FSB and lower the multipler from 9 to 7, you will have what's basically the E6300; just no Virtualization tech which we don't...

your CPU-Z doesnt show FSB number nor Multiplier number nor bus speed. I'd say that is bad. Somehow the mobo isn't communicating with the program. Use this program and see if it can detect the settings on your mobo Crystal CPUID I'd trust CPU-Z more than Vista's System Info =D
