Got my new Gigabyte DS4 up and running.. got the rev 3.3 so thats great.. Already running 3.15 ghz without any errors.. so guessing my P5N-E had an error.. but thats not my problem anymore haha..

Yeah.. using the firmware mod myself.. working like a charm. have been using it since it came out.. no need to buy a modchip since the fireware hack does the same thing.. get it to work and ill kick your ass in your own sport haha :D

Well.. im trying that sync mode now.. at 1800/950.. windows is running fine.. but stability programs is not.. but to hell with them...
What is funny is that i hav set it to 1800*900 now and SuperPi is crashing and so is memtest.. BUT.. windows is running great.. no problem at all and just tryed the game Company of heroes without any problems at all..
Seems like only benchmark and testing programs are crashing

What are you using to test your memory Memtest 1.7 in Dos.
No running memtest 3.5 in windows..
In addition, disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.

Have exchange them 2 time allready. 1 time the one block was bad. 2 time i though maby i have gotten a bad set of rams since i could not get more oc.. but...
The problem with the C4's ( C5's are fine )s that Corsair has changed their chips recently ( Promos ) and they do not clock as well. Seeing you have the 0401 bios try switching your ram to the yellow slots. I tried that last night and I was amazed with my results. I haven't finished testing them...
So if i trade my set of rams out with a pair og CL5 i whould be able to get some higher FSB right?
Is't it the same as putting the timings at 5-5-5-12 insted? or is there a bigger diffrent between the CL4 or CL5
Well.. if i try to set orthos to the Small FFTs test it dont crash in 1550 but when i run memtest with 1550 it gets errors.. so it is properly my memory.. but the 2.1v is whats what corsair says it will need.. but ill try 2.0 just to see..
