Is supertalent a decent brand of ram?

I'm no OCer, but I can say I like my set, have had no problems or mem errors. From what I've read they may not be the best OC choice, but are darn better that most value-ram.

Got it. For some reason whenever I tried to keep the data already on the SATA, it would act like I had set up a RAID but would leave exactly the space of the other drive unallocated. I kinda think it wasn't really RAID at all. So I set up the RAID first letting it destroy the data on both...

:)S3 standby works in BIOS 2.40c Per previous post, an AsRock tech sent me BIOS 2.4c when I asked about making Standby work. I just upgraded to the Sapphire 1900 GT, reverted back to the 2.40c BIOS and now standby works just fine. I guess you have to contact AsRock to request this version...

I don't know. Does 2.6 go into suspend to ram (S3)? 2.40 was supposed to, but I could never sort out whether I had a hardware problem with that card, a chipset/driver incompatibility or what (see posts pg 59). I'll try 2.6 on my AGP card if that will clarify anything? Update: I still have...

Yes, fans all shut down. Came out of standby ok. Be warned, Even though it came from ASRock tech support, I was never clear whether it was problems with bios or my card causing all the crashed (see original post) Now that I've made the offer I have no idea how to post it to the board...

Video card won't come out of standby

Does you BIOS have a 'repost VGA on resume from STB' or something like that? Mine is with the enable standby to memory option. You might try toggling it and see.

How did the upgrade to the x1950 go? I tried to switch from my ATI x700 pro AGP to a Sapphire X600XT PCI-e and ran smack into problems with VPU crashes. Wondering if you (or anybody else out there) has made ATI products work in the PCI-E slot.

Does wireless internet have same speeds as wired internet?
