Wow this thread has a lot of fail. lol
Love my 2015 SS with Holden badge conversion. the looks I get from it, you'd think it is an exotic. which in a way- it is, if you look at the low volume numbers. This car looks nothing like a Malibu in person. The V8 LS3 chevy small block along with the...
I like the new change and its responsiveness, but its incomplete (additional settings to adjust crossfire settings still uses the old catalyst interface) and missing features. and its buggy...
most of the issues revolve around the fact it bypasses the windows network stack when in in full functionality mode, when new games are released there is a small chance it will have issues if the programming is looking for key elements of the bypassed stack. sometimes its left up to the game...
Check out Planetary Annihilation, still a work in progress but has potential. it feels more total annihilation then supreme commander, but with planets. (and planet smashing !)
you guys visit too many pr0n sites apparently, haven't gotten a virus in maybe 15 years.
common sense + modern OS + MSE is enough. or just use windows 8 which has its version of MSE built in.
a yearly wipe and base reimage is always a good practice, as I find even legitimate apps have...
G-Sync is a game changer. They essentially made every regular LCD obsolete overnight from a gaming experience perspective. There is no way my next monitor will be without G-Sync. Prolly going to pick up some Nvidia stock soon.
I remember playing the original on a external Roland MT-32 box, combined with a soundblaster for digital voice it was gaming nirvana back in the day....
tasty, but I think I am going to ride my 4-way gtx480 hydros for a little while longer. definitely getting my money's worth out these cards considering how expensive GPUs have relatively gotten (imho)
My last earthwatts 430 crapped out on me and took every component with it. This is first failure I have had that this happened and I have been building systems for 20+ years.
I used to like their stuff, but I am no longer an Antec supporter.
Antec TPQ-1000 watt died within 2 years...
another reason why I avoid USB headphones. they may be nice, but USB has never been a great multimedia interface and negates any existing sound card you may have...
I doubt you'll see a significant price drop in arma II stuff until arma III comes out. They are milking DayZ for all its worth... I hope I'm wrong though...
if you are in heavily populated metropolitan areas, switch your default steam location to nearby smaller areas. e.g. US-Chicago ---> US-St. Louis, it requires a restart of steam and you might have to try a few different locations, but I have had good luck when steam gets hammered.
the better deal is the gtx480 imho if you need something cheap and fast and have a decent powersupply. 580 is just a refined version of it and marginally faster, it really should have been called a gtx485. your better off putting the 300 bucks towards a 600 series.
To raid an office for an outage seems a little extreme. Blizzard bends over backwards for the Korean consumer more then most publishers. A raid seems a bit drastic and a touch arrogant, no? Users are bound to the SLA, and I highly doubt blizzard excluded service outages lol.
these would make a perfect 2d surround setup, i would buy but already have a surround screen setup with acer 1080p 24" 3d screens. I find I don't use 3d that much. just too lazy to swap out without the wife noticing...
nah, sandy bridge and Ivy bridge have been pretty underwhelming to me. even the mobo tech seems to have stagnated to me.
running my 950 happily at 4.4. gonna wait to see what haswell has to offer, from what i hear i might even be waiting for broadwell...
yea, my "ancient" i7 950 @ 4.2 tri sli 480 hydros still blaze through everything.
waiting for the true next gen stuff...
they just trying to get rid of 1155 mobo stock with this generation imho. what's teh point of going 22nm when there is no significant core or clock increase?
yea, the whole GTX 500 line should have never existed they are all merely iterations of the GTX 480/470... the 680 should have been the 580. pure marketing from Nvidia. been rocking my tri sli 480 hydrocoppers for over 2 years now... they are still CPU limited in many instances on my i7 950 at...
been rocking 4 of these drives for over a year in a Raid 5 external enclosure ESATA setup... rock solid and super quiet/cool. streams HD media fine too to my 360 and PC.
too bad seagate owns samsung now... maybe it'll improve seagate but I doubt it. had bad luck with seagate drives (click of...
Yea, I remember D2 holding price for a loooooooooooooooooooong time. Its a little diffrent these days though with over the wire downloads, so the discounts might come sooner, but don't count on it for atleast 2012.
fyi ,
works fine in 2d nvidia surround with a few tweaks. just hit up widescreengaming forum. I don't imagine why it wouldn't work in plain 2d surround.
