Is 4850 CF overkill for 1680x1050?

I am surprised. I had no end of hassles when I tried crossfiring 2 x 3850's on my P35. Especially in COD 4. Wonder if its just a case of them sorting out driver issues since I tried? Edit: wow, just realised how out of date my sig is!

The game is still months form release and already many people already need to get a life. Me inlucded :-( Anyway, I don't think the game will run as bad as most are thinking. But as long as i can run 1680 x 1050 with 4xAA and everything else at medium, I will be happy - kind of like CM:Dirt.

Ok, can disable windows defender and UAC, but...

But it's such a pain in the butt.... IT's like someone asking "Are you sure?", "Are you really sure?", "Are you really, really sure?". Either way though, even if I leave that enabled and disable windows defender, it still causes the same problem with the wireless network.
