So Supreme Commander got a patch that increases performance...

c&c3 is the 'dumb mans RTS'. it doesn't take a lot of skill to play it. designed by 'pro gamers', and i use that term lightly, it takes strategy out of the game and in turn replaces it with strict build orders. supcom online takes strategy and tactics. experimentals are not game breakers either.

maybe in first class. I hope you can find yourself a 12-14" monitor. I highly doubt you'll have the space, power or the patience of your neighbors that will allow you to do that.

Command & Conquer 3 [Official Thread]

Yet another franchise EA managed to suck the life from. This game is so devoid of any strategy it hurts. The multiplayer is so bland I kill myself of boredom. Ok guys heres how a typical multiplayer game goes. Spam tanks. whoever manages to build the most tanks wins. I want my $60 back.

HOW DO YOU CLEAN YOUR LCD MONITOR ?

Yup, thats what I use as well. Nothing beats it. Memorex PC Quick Wipes? Do they work just as well on your asS?

well, its either 1 week to get a new one as the same model or put up with it. quite frankly, I have a high tolerance to defects as im sitll using my 8800gtx KO ac3 even though i get extremely weird sounds while using it

How to properly dispose of a computer?

There is no electronic recycling program where you live? Every monitor, TV, printer, hand held, tower and laptop is subject to a recycling fee where I live.

8800Ultra for $999??

I wonder if this constitutes using the eVGA step-up program and trading in the 8800GTX KO ACS3 for one of these crazy indulgence cards. The main question is, will it support its own weight?

Boot problem with Corsair Dominator Memory

Expensive is relative. I have the same RAM. Set to 2.1/2.2 and loosen the timings to about 4-4-4-15 and if its there already, use 5-5-5-18

8800gts problem!!

Use the 97.95 drivers. Had the same problem with my 8800GTX KO ACS3 . However with this card I have to downclock to 900mhz memory freq so I don't get the BSOD's

Static shock from case.

I have NO idea how you would be able to pinpoint a bad ground. It could be a defective motherboard, a stripped ground wire near the psu thats hitting the case, or anything. I used to do a lot of electrical work but never something like this. The PSU is just a mini-transformer thats stepping up...

Static shock from case.

No ground improper grounding Bad PSU magnetism or just weather :s If you can touch it, get shocked, touch it again and still get shocked its either bad grounding in your mobo or your psu is messed up..

But the core 2 duo's are way too tempting not to overclock. and it WILL get you. I ran 3ghz at stock cooling and even undervolted.

Is buying a used laptop a good move?

Make sure you get a warranty. Also, the gloss finish is for looks only. I prefer the anti-glare screens because of, well, glare.

evga 680i motherboard

I have Corsair XMS2 PC2-6400 Dominators, 2gb @ 840mhz. 5-5-5-18. Right now my voltage is at 2.2. The board only reportedly kills ram at 2.2 and above. So keep it at 2.1 if you want to save it. No idea about the BFG board. It runs cool at 35'C with the Scythe Ninja. Most instability I've found...

I have this board, running my RAM at 2.2V. Apparently it will destroy ram at this voltage but meh corsair has a lifetime. I built the system myself and all I can say is that damn northbridge heatsink/fan is huge and will cause many problems when deciding on after market CPU coolers. the layout...

*ACCURATE* Temp reading!

It's a E6600 @ 3.0 right now. 1.227 V B stepping There hasnt been any difference in temperature when I made the switch to this zalman and I'm now trying to find a place in town here that has the Thermalright CPu cooler in stock.

Ok. So I'm trying to find a good temp reader that will accurately display my temps for OC purposes and, I just installed a new heatsink (7700cu). BIOS states it at 60oC Nvidia Monitor states it at 50oC and Core Temp states it as 42oC/42oC All readings are idle Should I rely on core...

What a ridiculous looking card. Sorry to say it but if you need to make a card that is almost 1 1/2 feet long just to compete then your R&D team needs retooling. Seriously, this is why I don't trust ATI. Smaller = better. This will destroy ATI.

How could you NOT get a core 2 duo? They're like 200 bucks dude.. if you can't ante up for that then maybe you deserve to stay with a pentium D, which by the is the grade it gets for efficiency and performance.
