E2160 CPU Error

the reason i changed is i needed money and i wasnt using the whole 4gb so i downgraded it to 2gb and the CRUCIAL is ddr2 800. Also when i set the CPU to manual settings like the fsb to 250 and the multiplier to 8 and the RAM speed to 1:1 Ratio so the speed of the RAM comes out to be 500 still...

E2160 CPU Error

i got the beta 4.37 and at ideal it is showing the same 41 deg as the 4.33 ver anyway thanks for letting me know when i run the prime again tomorrow i will see if there is any temp diff.

Well guys i was able to set my memory to 4-4-4-12 and it booted up fine now things is in the CPUZ the specs doesnt come anymore for the Ram. Is this a problem and also is there a program to check if the RAM is working fine on that settings. Thanks

Well thanks all you guys who came to my help. I think now i am getting a hang of this slow but surely i am lowering my multiplier from 9 to 7 x 360mhz. I ran Prime 95 for about an hour and the temp kept around 51 which is well low than what i used to get couple of hours ago than again the temp...

Thanks Brencat i disabled C1E and EIST and it worked. One question though lets say one reaches the speed of 2.8ghz by multiplier of 7x400mhz and the other reaches a speed of 2700 by 9 x 300mhz setting is there a real notable difference in day to day life in speed. Discard the 100mhz final speed...

It seems that you r right but most of them who has this mobo and cpu are able to change the multiplier. Other thing is why does the multiplier and ram speed keep going up and down in the cpuz Any idea? Thanks

thanks youshi for you insightful comment however i just bought IP35-E purely because of Price Diff at 66 after rebate one cant go wrong with this mobo. However once i get use to all this OC maybe my next build will be on DFI if they keep up their good work. Thanks again.

my main concern is the BIOS which will be easier to understand and tweak. Also does ABIT NB get hotter like DFI and also is GemenII CPU Cooler be fine in any of this board or should i go for something smaller.
