    Few observations after a long break from gaming

    Steam has eliminated any piracy urges I may have had. My Steam catalog is becoming rather daunting - in a good way. :) My typical price point: $7.50 or less. But I did pick up 2 copies of Fallout NV Ultimate for $9.99 yesterday.

    Minimal damage (3 games) thus far: Grimrock, Worms reloaded, and Toy Soldiers Toy Soldiers is pretty cool from what I've tried so far :) Resisting Alan Wake and Space Marine, but its been tough. Really want New Vegas Ultimate.

    I like that they want to push the boundaries. The unit cam sounds fun, and I'm intrigued by the "human" element and legion development. Not sure what diplomacy will really mean but it sounds like it might be deeper. Yes, I'll be getting this close to release in all likelihood.

    I agree with the sentiments regarding diplomacy. On the one hand it was easy to deal with because it wasn't that important, on the other hand it could make for a deeper, more entertaining strategic experience if it really mattered.
