Other than when i'm running VMware Workstation or StarCraft 2, my Core i7 920 is overkill by a large margin

SSD's more prone to OS corruption?..

Hadn't had it happen to me, but i'm wondering what OS is on your SSD? I've used SSD with OS X and dropped power - no issue whatsoever. I can't imagine a Windows OS being that bad :\

Recommend best s939 mATX board

Looking into putting my socket 939 Athlon X2 based system into a case like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16811133033 so now i'm wondering, what is the best (most stable, feature-rich, reliable, performing) mATX motherboard i can get for the Athlon X2 939? i prefer nvidia...

Vista x86 versus x64

I'm running Ultimate on all the systems in my signature, but the dual dualcore opteron worstation is running the x64 version. Since Vista is a new, immature OS, the 32bit version seems to run most games faster than x64 version, albeit by only a couple frames in most cases. The only advantage...

Another Vista RAM question

Well, thanks to SuperFetch, 4GB will be noticeable over 2GB, and that is what i would add to the system. Not sure about your 4 DIMM issue...
