It happened within an hour or so so it couldn't be just the ambient. And all my fans are controlled by either a fan controller or speedfan so I can monitor their RPMs and I didn't notice any difference. The most frustrating thing for me is that the delta T is too large (~30 after running...

I tried removing the side panel too and duplicating the exact scenario that I used to have 23/35, but no go. Really weird....

Hi All, My E4400/P5W-DH rig was OC'ed to 3.4GHZ and the temps was 30/55, with TR Ultra 120 Extreme?! I thought it was because I didn't installed the heaksink properly. Yesterday I took everything apart and re-apply the AS5 and stuff. When I tested it with only the HD, Mouse and KB, the...

It didn't crash on me. I fixed the problem by installing the "Standard IDE Controller" in windows by updating the driver of "JMIcron Raid ...Controller" (forgot the exact name). Then both sata and IDE works. I didn't try the raid cause I set jmicron to "basic" or "ahci" in Bios

I just added an extra hard drive using the Jmicron connector because all the other ones are used. But I can't format the drive to FAT and only NTFS is available. Is there a fix for this? Thanks!

Accurate CPU Temp Monitor

I'm comparing the readings of cores idle/load from 1.Coretemp: 38/50 2. Intel TAT: 37/50 3. Speedfan: 20/38 4. PC Probe II (came with my P5W DH): 20/38 Which ones are the accurate ones? I'm absolutely confused.

Thanks Phil. But unfortunately it is totally block(the heatpipe almost touched it on the side) that not even a right-angle one will do. But anyway, I "sort of" fixed it by disabling the "press F1 when errors occur" in the BIOS. Now I have another question, is it even possible to boot up...

Hi All, I just installed the Win XP on my new P5W DH on a SATA HD connected to SATA 3 (Black). A really annoying thing is that everytime it boots up, a message showing: "NO IDE Master HDD Detected" and I have to press F1 to continue. Do anyone know how to fix this? I can boot up fine...

Which cases will fit Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme

I'm having a really tough time finding a $100-150 quality case that will fit this bad boy. Any suggestions? Good airflow and easiness to install are my top concerns. Thanks!

Recommendation for DDR2-667 OC'ed to 850

My budget is only about $150 for a 2gb set. And I know I would be asking too much if I want it to be running at CAS 4 when OC'ed to 850. Any suggestions? Can the Super Talent one do the job? It has been like $120 lately. Thank you guys so much! And I'll be using Air Cooling only.
