Help, I'm building a game system

Well... what games do you play? How much money can you blow on this? Planning on building it yourself, right? A dual isn't worth it if you just play games, though. Save the cash or buy better speakers, a burner, etc.

Basically, I need to find a nice place to order a computer online, like Dell, Falcon-NW, OutsideLoop, 2 Geeks, PC Nut, etc. etc. So... where would you suggest (I know about resellerratings.com, but I'd like comments from this board :))? If it matters, he can spend around $2800, no monitor...
