Doesn't work on the Wii either as there's no RF. It will control absolutely anything that uses RF, the online database for pulling in the configs is fantastic.
Picked up one of these from Amazon for 125 w/free shipping in September. Amazon has it listed for 156 now though, so this looks like a pretty good deal. I love the remote. Very easy to program.
Can't speak as to how they'll handle it this year, but in the past when they had deals like this I got the 3 games, kept sealed any of the ones I didn't want and exchanged them later for different games (ie ones that weren't released at the time of the deal).
Well this is a YMMV then, I picked up a PS3 from Kmart yesterday with the 20% off coupon I printed off of the internet (printed it in color). No questions, no hassle at all. In and out in 10 minutes, only took that long because he had to go to the back to get me a PS3.
FYI, if you're heading to Kmart to use the 20% off coupon on a PS3 you may want to call and see if they have them in stock first. I stopped by Kmart last night and was immediately reminded why I don't shop there. Incredibly ghetto and they only had one PS3, a 20GB model, I'm betting its been...
Thanks for the amazon link, just ordered one. Been playing quake wars and enjoying it, but I thought I'd give this a shot as I enjoyed the first COD and this is back to the original makers.
Yes it could actually save money. I bought my Tivo in 2001 as well and assumed that when new hardware came out I would get it, so I went with the $100/year plan. Well I'm still using my original 6 years later and at that time the lifetime subscription was $199. So I would have saved $400...
You will have very little luck buying ahead of time and trying to price match on Black Friday. I know for sure that the customer service counter is closed at BB Friday morning and I doubt you'll have any luck with other retailers.
Unless the quality on these has gone up dramatically I'd stay the hell away from these. I bought one shortly after they came out after reading all the good reviews. Had it hard lock up on me 3 times the first day I had it, every time it did so it had to be completely reset which wipes out all...
The Tom's Hardware review already said it wouldn't be possible through drivers or a bios mod to get to the full 16 pipes from 12, so count on physically having to mod the card for this if it happens.
Yeah, I know to check for 25 or less ms, but many places say these numbers aren't always accurate. Tom's Hardware has done some great analysis on that stuff. Thats why I am curious if anyone has personal experience with this particular monitor.
Goodness, a bit whiny aren't we?
Thanks for the post, looks like a good deal. Anyone have personal experience with this monitor? Especially with gaming and first person shooters?
All of my stuff was delivered this morning, it took less that 24 hours from the time I ordered to when it was delivered! Can't ask for much more than that.
Another option besides the CD-R's to push you over the 350 mark to use the coupon is a Belkin USB printer cable for under 14 to use your new printer. I ordered up this morning.
These headphones are terrible. I bought these exact same ones refurb though ecost and the background noise is terrible. I thought maybe it was just my environment so I brought them to work and tried them there also.
