I've got it at 1333 QDR and the voltages for Vcore on auto, NB at 1.36. I'll see if I get any more reboots at that setting. Ram is already in the Black slots, timings manually set to 5,5,5,15 2T and 2.08 volts per specs.

I've been having a minor problem with my setup. When I first started to overclock, I had it Orthos stable (no errors) for 36 hours, and Memtest 86+ showed no errors after 48 hours. Started up 2 clients of Folding @ Home and within 12 hours it would lock up solid.. I've since backed the FSB down...

Ok, I have 2 minor problems. First is this, when it goes thru it's memory check when posting it will show 2096128K (OK) 2097152K INSTALLED Memtest86+ shows all 2 gigs, tests fine, Win XP Pro shows 2 gigs, but in BIOS, shows 2048 installed 2047 usable. Do I have a bad MOBO? or bad Memory...

Tuvoc is correct. I flashed my BIOS from a flash drive. I have a floppy drive but didn't have a blank floppy disk. My flash drive showed up as the C: drive while in the BIOS EZ Update tool..

Thats probably correct if it's just idling.Put a load on it and watch CPU-Z. It should show correctly then. It's what they call speedstep etc. When the CPU is not doing any work, it backs it down to save energy and keep the temps down. (also saves wear and tear on the CPU.. )

I seem to have a small problem. While Orthos showed me stable with no errors after 4 hours of running,(temps high but still safe), Windows XP Pro SP2 locks up after about 6-8 hours of running Folding at Home which is not as stressful as Orthos. I tried upping Vcore to the next notch from my sig...

Well I'm currently running Orthos Blend at the spec's listed in my sig. It's ran 15 minutes so far with no freezing, no lockups, and no errors. I'm gonna let it run while I sleep. When I get up if it's still running I will believe I have a stable system. If not, back to the BIOS settings...

At load, Asus Probe II reads 40C for the Cpu, 39C for the mobo. Speedfan reads, 40C for the CPU(temp 1), 39C for temp 2 (mobo) and Core 1 and core 0 both read 45C. Those are all at 100% load with Folding at Home running. Core Temp program version is 0.95 and it shows both cores at 59...

That is at a room temp of 75F. Whats confusing is that the program Core Temp reports 60C at full load vs. Speedfan 45C at full load.

Got my rig up and running now. Temps seem a little high but I'll wait a few days before trying to reset the Heatsink fan assm. Core Temp reports 60C under full load, while Speedfan 4.32 reports the cores at 45C. Everything else seems ok at the moment. I'm running it stock for a few days running...

Yep I already took it off, I've lapped the heatsink.. I wasn't planning on trying to spread it around. Was curious because MX-1 says a dab dead center and AS5 says a thin line dead center to cover both cores. I just don't want to have to remove and replace the heatsink to redo the MX-1 if I do...
