I've got the exact same problem. Maybe it's not the gfxcard/drivers. I've got a nvidia card (7600GT) and I've tried with 3 different drivers with no luck. Always a blue screen everytime i try to watch divx/xvid. No problem at all running games like civ4 and half-life...
