I currently have 2 gbs of patriot extreme performance ddr2 800. I just ordered 2 more gbs of the same ram but after further inspection of my order i saw that the ram i ordered was not exactly the same. I have the 4-4-4-12 2.2v version now but i just ordered the 5-5-5-12 2.0v version. Will...

try uninstalling, reboot,driver cleaner, reboot, and then downloading Eusing Free Reg Cleanerand running that. reboot install :D

Joystick Games

I found my joystick in my closet the other day. I never really used it because i play games that dont work well with it. Is there any games you guys recommend that work well on a joystick? (besides flight simulators)

What internett browser is best for hotkeys?

I'm not sure about Opera, but i use mozilla and i use a couple shortcuts. ctrl+l for address bar ctrl+k for search bar ctrl+t for new tab ctrl+ tab to switch between tabs

switch between 2 5.1 inputs

On my computer i have an xfi soundcard and i plug in my 5.1 speakers (3 connections) into that card. When i want to use my 5.1 headset i have to unplug the speakers and plug in the headset. Is there a spliter or something that i could plug both 5.1 inputs to and have that plug into the card and...

yea all the dx10 games out now are designed as dx9 and then add some dx10 features, if the code of the game is based on dx10 itll be better optimized

on my other pc (not the one in the sig) i just put in a new mobo (gigabyte ds3) and reinstalled vista 64 bit. I have a soundblaster audigy se and i installed the drivers correctly. When i open and close programs or even scroll down a page the music gets distorted and kinda like in slow motion. I...

they prolly played with you on an online game and wanted to be your friend. if you do accept it the only thing to watch out for is if some1 changes their name to something like steam admin and ask for your password and such.

Windows explorer has encountered a problem....

I had my computer working for a year and my account was the only one on the computer until recently i created 4 other accounts for my family. Now that i have done that my family members keep getting an error message that windows explorer.exe needs to shut down, do you want to send an error...

Anyone with G80 SLI try DX10 CoH or Call of Juarez?

even if it did support sli, i wouldnt try benching on a dx9 game that isnt based on tru dx10 code.

Company of Heroes directx10 patch released

there are beta drivers on nvidias website that include better performance for dx10 in coh. Havent tried em personally but i have heard that performance is still bad. 8800gts and core 2 with beta 158.18 brought performance down to a crawl in dx10 mode. usually i get around 100 fps average in dx9...

My new video card...EVGA 8800GTS 320MB

1. Riva tuner works for me 2. nvidia has a built in tempurature monitoring program built into the nvidia control panel. 3. Riva tuner works for me. ATI Tool is good for scanning for artifacts and running it while monitoring temperatures.

Lost Planet dx10 issues

I just downloaded the dx10 version of the lost planet demo from filefront.com. I installed it and then when i click to start the game it says im missing d3dx10_33.dll. Is this demo fake or whats goin on?

Very low 3dmark06 score

its definitely your graphics card. With a gts you could get to 10,000 (another gig wouldn't hurt either). As far as your 7900 i would expect it to have a better score than that... I used to get around 2700 with a pentium 4 and a 6800gs.

OC'ing an E4300

I have my e4300 now at 3.0ghz and have the same temps as 2.7. I am confident that speed fan works because i confirmed the temps with easy tune which was made for my motherboard. I have my 5 120 mm fans and my 200 mm fan on high and they work quite well.

Should I buy an E4300?

My temps are 20 idle and 45-50 at load using orthos. Im using speed fan to get them, i checked easy tune (which came with my mobo) that the temps were right and they were.

Overclocking Utility that works on vista?

I installed rivatuner 2.0 and windows alerted me that rivatuner requires a digitally signed driver... and than when i open it it cant load rivatuner64.sys driver. Its in my folder but maybe im not doing it right because it says something about admin rights. So can you help me either solve that...

OC'ing an E4300

i have my e4300 at 2.7 on my ds3 with stock heatsink. I idle at 20 and load gets to 45-50. Havent changed the vcore yet so i dont really have to worry about a new heatsink (and my 900 case does a good job too :D)

Yea i meant in door with the 100+ on oblivion, obviously it was lower in the wilderness... i think around 30-50 fps with 8xq?

In oblivion I used to (just upgraded havent tried it on new system) play at 1680x1050 with hdr + aa... I had numerous texture mods that enhanced the resolution of the textures. I think i ran at 8xq getting playable fps in the wilderness. 16xq brought fps down but it was barely playable. as far...

rofl i have oblivion with all the texture mods you could imagine and my 8800 gts doesnt flinch... 100fps sometimes ! oh and F.E.A.R. with supersampling and 16xq at 1680x1050 brings the frame rate down a lot supreme commander is nice with fidelity turned up but its more cpu bound.

speed fan

core temp doesnt work for me, something about drivers not working... so im using speed fan to monitor temps. I wanna know which tempurature to look at since there are several. There is temp 1 (which is always the highest) temp 2, temp 3 (which is negative) core 0 and core 1... should i be...

P4 3.0GHz with 8600GT

Ive used p4 3ghz with 8800 gts also, it ran great but i had to go for a core 2 duo :D. Supreme Commander really benefited from it.

how long to wait to oc

I just got my e4300 @ 1.8 ghz, now its way faster than my previous p4 but i got it to overclock. Is there an amount of time you guys recommend before i jump right into overclocking? Should I wait a week to break it in or is there no issue with ocing right outta the box?

GeForce 8800 GTS

it'll be close... I have a dell 9100, it has a p4 3.0ghz, 1.5 gb ram, 8800gts and an xfi sound card... I also have a 375 watt psu and it works. The 12v rating on mine is like 36? i think its 12v a= 18 12v b= 18. I dont know if i would risk it with your specs. the processor would take more power...
