Biostar Tforce 550 $49.99 at the egg, $6.13 shipping...

I had one of these. open box, and it died in about 10days. Froze during a gaming session, and wouldn't reboot. Was using it non-OC'd with a 3600 x2 brisbane and buffalo ram. if you get it, I hope it works out for you.

Update: I think the Mb just went out. The PS still working in my other PC. So i picked up a new MB and with all the same parts, my PC is back up and running. Biostar OEM that lasted 14 days or so...

So what do you mean by getting referral codes? It seems like all you can do is sign up, then sign up 5 other accounts with different address on your credit card. Then cancel after a month, and recieve a Wii. Is this right?

Wanted to post what happened in the procedure. Sent the trial (thanks Jeff7181) for a free 15-day trial. Then it costs $19.99 as a one-time upgrade fee to the full version. That account then gets the 1st month free (15.99 off). For the referal my 1st account gets a month free as well...

And i have another 350Watt PSU that isn't being used (don't know specs atm - will post when I get home) Can I use a 430W and a 350W together? or am I stuck with getting the 7600GT?

And someone responded with I've run many an X1950 PRO with only 18A on the 12v rail, and I've not had any of them crash and burn, or perform under what I expected out of them. I believe I posted that I have +12V@19A... isnt that better then 18A on 12v.... god I am new to power stuff

What would be the "chance"? Could i fry the Video card, cause reboots, or just won't power the video card? Because I would really want to get the X1950pro... the benchmarks are great. And it seems like it would keep a while with the AMD Am2 Brisbane 3600+ X2 I am buying with it

I would love to get the Biostar, but the OEM was is out of stock, and the retail is a bit to pricey. I will be putting in a Cooler Master 430watt psu. I might end up having to get an ECS or PC-Chips MB.
