Best System for $1500

On the ASUS M4A77D, I noticed on the specs on newegg that the memory standard is DDR2 1200/etc. Will the G.SKILL DDR3 1600 work as well on it? Just want to clear this up before I tell my brother to start ordering parts. Thanks.

Trouble with New System/Cooler Master V8

Well, I tried messing with this for two hours straight last night. Just using the brackets I cannot get them threaded enough to screw in. Very frustrating. When I get home from work today I will give it another go, but I don't think it's going to fit.

I guess I worded that strangely. What I meant was the bay cage comes out and goes in just fine. My problem is when I have my SATA cables plugged into the MB, and I push the bay cage back in to secure it with screws, I can not get it to go all the way due to blockage from the cables that are...

This is looking great! As far as monitors, I am guessing a TN would make more sense compared to an IPS, so I'm going to see if I can find either the BenQ G2400WD or Acer G24 somewhere reputable since newegg, buy, and amazon don't carry them now - though I'm not too sure on the orange outline...

HD Issue

I have just finished building a new computer for my brother and in it I installed a 500GB Seagate HD. When booting to the Windows XP Pro install screen, it only sees about 131GB. It is a SATA HD if that helps and an ASUS P5B motherboard. I just don't know why it is not showing the full 500GB...
