    For the most part the system looks fine. If you read the article on the hitachi 1TB drives, you'll see RAID has no signifigant performance gains in games. I'd say change them out for a nice large capacity drive. Also look for the P182 instead of the p180, as the 182 has better cable management...

    Blah, thats too much work....guess I'll save for a decent modular psu. Any suggestions? My current PSU is a tagan 480w, and it's done me good, but too many cables, hence why I wanted to clip it. Will it be tough enough to handle a 640mb 8800gts?

    Would it be possible to clip the extra 4 pin molex's/sata cables, and attach a male piece to one end of the cable and a female to the other, essentially removing excess cables, or would this just mess up the whole thing?

    Go with the opty 165. It has a lower base speed, about equal to the 3800x2, its a beast of an overclocker. I got mine to 2.7 stable at stock volts with max temps not breakin 50 (if my temp meter is right). And its $100 cheaper :)...

    definitely go with the opteron. It costs a little more, but they are some beasts at overclocking (took my 165 from 1.8-2.7 @1.36vcore, and have yet to see my processor get hot).

    I would, but I upped the volts on the NB and LDT to max and the board wouldnt boot at 315 :(. Still.....50% increase upped it enough to save me a massive upgrade for now.     Should be my last post on this. I reached 300x9 with no problems. I would push to 310, but the guide said to stop at 95% so thats exactly what I'm gonna do, now to set the multiplier to get my ram running at stock for now, and all will be good.

    Following the s939 quick and dirty guide, I'm isolating the boards max htt/fsb on a jetway 939-gt4-sli, and when I restart/edit the bios, it wont reboot, but shutting it off and turning it back on it runs just fine. Is this normal or should I tune it down?
