I smoked for 35 years. In July of 2014 I had dual PE's which are blood clots in the lungs. I haven't picked up a cigarette since but replaced smoking with a vape. Started at 24mg and am down to 3mg now. I haven't craved a cigarette since I started vaping.
I purchased an EVGA 1080 FTW from JET. Ended up getting it for $629 with the discounts. It was shipped in a Newegg box. So they must have Newegg drop shipping for them. I registered it with EVGA with no issues
Although I was aware of the black screen issue in games,I just heard about a VRM heat...
Sapphire 7950 purchased in January 2012. I'm running a 34" 3440x1440 monitor. The 7950 still runs what I play with the settings lowered. I am looking to upgrade but don't want to pay the inflated prices for the any of the new cards just released, I'll wait until the market settles down to upgrade.
I purchased a 1996 Altima with 186k for $200 back in 2004 from a family who was offered $175.00 from Carmax. Drove it everyday for 4 years. Sold it with 256K for $1200.00.
I got mine last week and had some issues also. One of my front fan doors doesn't lock, and I had to hammer on a thumbscrew holding on a side panel since it was bent and wouldn't fit correctly. My box was also in pristine condition so I am guessing they are shipping from the factory with these...
You may want to visit the htpc edid override thread at avs forum. Can't link to it at work, but I have read that the 5000 series and certain receivers need to have an .inf file changed in order for the receiver to recognize hdmi audio.
Here are a couple of pics of the TriTrix from Parts Express. just finished them this past Sunday. All in all i am happy with the sound quality for the $$. I would have liked the finish to look a little better but for my first DIY project, I guess they are not bad...
I just finished building the TriTrix TL knock down kit from PE. The build is super easy and for $199, with pre cut cabinets the price is right. They sound real good for a cheaper DIY build. I didn't have clamps for the build so I had to purchase 8 of them that added to the cost. Painted with a...
It's so reassuring to me to know that there are so many people who would come to my defense by signing petitions and making statements on TV and internet forums for my release if I drugged, raped and sodomized a thirteen year old girl and evaded arrest for thirty years.
Would all of...
Not the only reason, but she did mention my addictive personality. When she said that i was like WTF? I mentioned that Coffee happens to be the most popular beverage in the world. No response from her.
Love coffee, Usually drink Folgers. Enjoying a cup right now before work. Heck, my drinking coffee every day was one of the reasons my wife said she wanted to divorce. I'm supposedly addicted.
I have run 2 hours of occt at 3.5 with all four cores running. My voltage is 1.43, while testing I had speed fan running and it showed 51c at load, it is a little hot for my liking, so I may back it down some. I believe speed fan and cpuz are not listing correct voltages. It is set at 1.4375 in...
Some new discoveries.
I am running occt at 3.5ghz as I type. Here's what I did:
I disabled ACC in the bios and lost the fourth core. OC to 3.00 was stable. Then I enabled acc to the ALL Cores setting. Sure enough my fourth core came back, and it has given me the ability to OC through the...
I ran occt two hours at stock speeds. No problems. But I can't get this to overclock through the bios at all. I will change the multi and up voltage to 1.4 and when I re-boot it will shut down immediately. I can run AMD overdrive and OC through windows, up to 3.2. Have run occt for a two hours...

I actually ordered the Asrock AOD 790 GX board and got it in today. I am going to try the processor in that to see if is not DOA before I RMA. BTW it is a 0851 chip, which I have heard is one that has been unlocked.
I will use my 790FX board in a HTPC with my 5000be instead.
So as usual...
Not only did I NOT win the 0904 batch lottery, I can't even boot my system with this processor installed. I have a Gigabyte GA-MA790FX DS-5, it is AM3 ready but will not post with the X3 installed. I have the latest bios and all. Maybe my RMA will be the unlockable batch.
I have the latest Bios.
Here is what happened:
Installed the new processor in the case. When I booted it gave me continuous long beeps.
According to the manual that indicates a video card issue. I took a different video card from another system and tried...no good. I then removed the...
Just got my X3 720 today. I have a Gigabyte 790FX DS-5
I installed the processor and re-set bios, yet it will not post. I then took it out of the case and tried to boot outside of the case...1 stick ram.....no go. I put my 5000be back and it booted right up.
So, Do I have a DOA Phenom...
I ordered from buy.com yesterday. Used a new customer coupon and saved $5, then they offered second day shipping for 2.99 not 5.99. Total of 147.98.
I can't wait to see what type of OC I can get from this, using my gigabyte 790fx.
I also think Newegg saw that others were getting them in stock and decided they should be more competitive price wise. Still Buy.com was a better deal. My total was 147.98
144.99 with a 5.00 new customer coupon and 2.99 second day shipping.
Saw all in all others have better deals than...

The LCR have been replaced with TSC LCR 3-P and the LR have been relegated to surrounds.
It's not bad for my first HT.
