1st post! NEW NVIDIA driver! 1.0.5.0

It's rumored that this driver has "stereoscopic support". What the heck is it anyway? Could somebody please explain?

New Detonator 7.52 for Win9x, WintNT, Win2000

I just tested the 7.52 and it's just a bit slower than the 6.50 i was using. Q3's pretty much the same (1fps slower) and lost about 100 points in 3DMarks2000. Coolbits doesn't work, therefore can't disable vsync in Direct3D. There's no Extended Desktop in TwinView mode (i'm using Twin View Plus...

how do i o/cing for the new driver for....elsa...6.67..? for geoforce 2 gts..?

You need to replace the nvcpl.dll(6.67) with the same file from earlier versions which allow o/cing like 6.47 or 6.49 in order to enable the hardware option again.

Thanks alot for your response, Andy. My motherboard is an Asus P3C-E. I bought it at a computer swapmeet only to find out later that it only supports RDRAM. I thought it was the same as a P3C2000 which is also an Intel 820 chipset but does support SDRAM. I've just been to the user review...

Did you have problem in every 3D game before your switched to AGP 1x? I had problem with games such as NFSPU, Quake3, Soldier of Fortune, NHL2001, F1 2000 etc...

Have you tried to turn AGP down to 1x? I have an old 440BX mainboard (Asus P2B) and experienced the same lock up problem when upgrading to an MX. However, after using Powerstrip to force AGP to 1x, i haven't got a lock up since. All my games run fine now. I know there's a performance hit but...

Anybody tried the leaked Detonator 6.67 drivers?

I replaced the nvcpl.dll file with the 6.49's file and Coolbits worked fine but i had a different problem. For some reason, i can't disable Twin View when i use the 6.67 (i have a Twin View Plus MX), it just keeps kicking me back to Extended Desktop. Other than that, everything else seems to be...

Thanks shk. Unfortunately, my bios doesn't have that option. I've read somewhere that there's a tweak prog that lets you do this but i can't remember where. Anybody else can help?

Update! i'm using the det 5.33 right now and everything seems to be stable so far. The only down side is that 3DMarks is about 400 points lower than 6.26 and it doesn't support Twin View. I dunno...maybe i'll send the card back for the 6ns one.

Yeah, i believe the Cel II's only come in flip chip version(FGPGA). By the way, i'm using the Asus adaptor with GlobalWin FKP32.
