Retrieving data from MacOS HDD

Lol, Pick2, you got me feeling pretty sheepish over here. Of all the things, all the methods, I did not even think of that one. Which is kinda hilarious since I was wanting to install an SSD in the Mac as well. Thank you for the suggestion, it's likely the way I'm going to go.

What is wrong with keyboard manufacturers

I can understand not liking full keypress but the keyboard does have "media" buttons. Keys F1-F4 are used in conjunction with the SteelSeries logo (Windows key). :)

Yeah, I realized that after the fact. I had formatted the HDD to NTFS before I read that I should format it to FAT32 instead. I haven't had the opportunity to try this out just yet but I'm hoping to be able to sometime today. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks!

Something that could be considered similar to this is "Aussie Fries" from Outback Steakhouse. Basically it's fries covered in like three different types of melted cheese and sprinkled with a ton of bacon bits and sausage. It's freaking delicious!

TBH, I don't know why they don't just do this for any RMA period. It's called good customer service people! It should be considered standard. At least that's they way I see it. I guess it's one step forward for ASUS.

Your upgrade fettish

Personally, I find CPU's much more interesting. However, I had to vote for GPU's as I'm a gamer and will generally upgrade that more often than my CPU. Using a Q6600 and an HD4850, things are pretty good right now. I definitely have the itch to go with Nehalem but I couldn't possibly justify...

Honestly, I would pay zero attention to the score that 3DMark gives you. It's basically for people who would like enlarge their e-peen. But if you must know... the higher the number the "better" the system. I'm sure you've noticed this already though...

ATi 4870 X2 (R700) previews thread

This is a glorious day. :D I can only hope that hard launch will be successful for AMD. If this card performs as well (if not better than) the early review demonstrates then I feel there is some serious competition in the GPU market. I can't wait to see prices fall even more in the coming months.

How and where can I research Price/Performance ratio?

I believe he said an E2180 @ 2.6GHz will beat an 5400+ X2 @ it's stock speed (2.8GHz). Which, I can't argue with that at all.
