I boot in Vista and the other computer only shows in the networkmap and i can ping the ip ...

Well i been messing around with those memory timings as well
at 300fsb 3-3-3-8 T1 i get 6274 in sandra
I managed to set it to 333 mode , but then the devider 3:4 kicked in making it 535Mhz while on 266 mode it was running 600Mhz
Benchmark in sandra showed proof of this dropping to the 5400...
U must have differend timings then me , because i get 5789 in sandra at 266/300fsb for those same memory chips
I have memory timings on auto
I don't even know if higher or lower numbers would be better for cas & co

I didn't try it out
Well there are reports that the 2nd ddr2 slot is weak or bugged and therefore doesn't allow higher clock speeds
I seen reports from ppl taking out 1 gb and use only the 1st slot are able to get higher clock speeds
I'm not willing to sacrifice 1 gb for a higher mem clock speed though
I...
If U plan to use a pcie why not just skip to a full pcie board
2gb of corsair ddr2 only cost like $70

Investing another $160 for a new pcie card and put this one on the shelves was just to much for my budget...

I did a dry run on foam to see if it would boot up , then i installed everything in the new case yesterday
as of now i have it running stable at 2.9Ghz without any mods

I ordered this board with a e4400 and 2 gigs of the same corsair ram U ordered hoping to be able to oc to close to 3ghz ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145015 )
Just like U i had my doubts about a 420W psu , specially after buying a HIS x1650XT turbo IceQ Agp last...
I doubt u can blame it on newegg , i had great experience with them in the past
I think they just have a bunch of boxes on a pile that they ship out
Someone in the packageplant of asrock must have taken a break and the band kept running leaving a load of boards unpacked or something lol...
My first post on this forum:
I bought a open box mobo from newegg once (asus p4s800d)
There were no cables and no i/o shield in the box
Also driver cd was missing
Besides the mobo was DOA too
RMA it and recieved another mobo which after installing went up in flames and smoke
