Thanks for the replies. Virtualization will play a fairly large role with the system, hence the 8GB of RAM requirement (4 x 2GB modules). I've actually considered Windows Server 2008 as a test platform (even if I download their trial version first). Any idea when the new 45nm quad-cores...
