Sorry for the late reply, I was off for a while. The geforce gtx 260 and the adaptec 2405 are fine, considering that the onboard sata's are configured as ahci or ide enhanced. So far the system is stable. Bram

Thanks for the tip, However, here in Belgium the 15rpm disks are more towards the 200 usd budget and that's a bit too much :) So, would you go with these or prefer a 7200 rpm barracuda es2 which seems to be nice too for a regular pc in raid? Bram

That's what I was thinking too, another geforce wouldn' fit my x45 mainboard but in the end I could keep the gtx 260 and use it later as a physx card. Are the bios settings for my cpu any good for long term reliability?
