Corsair 520W PSU broken down?

Hi! Just when I thought my new system was up and running stable and overclocked, I started getting BSoDs a few days ago. Dropped down to stock settings thinking the overclock might not be stable after all, but at the same time noticed that the 12V rail was reported as below 10V everywhere...

E6750 Finally Arrived!

Now running stable at 3400 Mhz @ 1.475 Vcore-BIOS (1.448 in CPU-Z, 1.440 load). Tweaking memory now.

E6750 Finally Arrived!

Well, turned out that 3504 Mhz wasn't even Orthos stable @1.5 Vcore-BIOS. :( Now aiming for lowest possible voltages with 3400 Mhz. Doh. At least I'll be able to play Tetris. ;(

E6750 Finally Arrived!

Your experiences with E6750 seem to be in line with mine. Took mine to 8x450=3600 Mhz @1.55v Vcore-BIOS, but Orthos failed after 46 mins. Seemed to be stable if I lowered to 7x450 with everything else the same, so I assumed it was the CPU (and not FSB wall or too low voltage on northbridge...

No POST with new system

Hehe, thanks :) I've got the system up and running now with the Asus P5K-E, and also got my memory (Corsair 6400C4). So just to conclude, the DS3R was DOA. Now for some overclocking ;)

Another new build that won't POST post

After discussing with Gigabytes support and testing out of the case, I decided to RMA the motherboard. The support technician agreed that even if the shipping BIOS was earlier than version F4, and thus not supporting E6750, it should at least boot up at lower speed. Asked for an Asus P5K-E as...

how to do a pencil vdroop mod on the p5k vanilla

I thought P5K had the BIOS option equivalent to the pencil mod that lowers Vdroop? Pencil mod was for the P5B? Could be wrong though, but you should double check before you mod. ;)
