AXP mobile 2200+

I can hit 200mhz FSB just fine - just can't bring the CPU up to speed for some reason. my 12v +/- fluctuates aroudn 11.8 to 12.5 on either side my 5v +/- is between 4.7 to 5 Maybe my aging enermax PSU is to blame? Maybe I just need to step up to the plate and get an A64 system? Any Good...

Hmm. I haven't checked my northbridge temps (by touch). I seem to run fine at 1700 (8.5x200).. hours of diablo2 and some Unreal Tourney. the CMOS says my VCORE is around 1.5 and I left the all the voltage settings on default. I did try upping to 1.65 for the CPU and still wasn't able to...

I'm running @ 10x200. Windows boots up fine. I tried some stress testing with 3Dmark2k1 and my computer will restart after the first sequence completes. I tried upping the vcore and got the same result. I then tried lowering the multiplier to 8.5x200 and ran 3Dmark again. This time it...

Help me pick a motherboard

I don't think you'd want onboard video in any situation. Get a cheap Matrox or ATI video card at least. Most onboard video chips I've seen just flat out suck in terms of image quality and being able to run high desktop resolutions in 32bit color. It's always good to have an upgrade option as...

Problem: Display will not refresh at anything but 60hz

You are right. I figured it out yesterday afternoon! LOL. I didn't know there were 2 places you could set the refresh rate and under the displays tab you can set the monitors max refresh rate for all resolutions. I didn't even know it was there! I guess by default it's set at 60HZ. Everything...

Win2k, so many devices sharing one IRQ

No apparent problems. Just noticed it. It doesn't make sense because there are IRQ's not even being used.

Why is this? Even when I muck around in the CMOS to assign IRQ's manually, windows will boot up and show the same devices all sharing one IRQ (five of them are on IRQ 7 including my video, motherboard onboard audio and USB controller).

Anyone Use Sound Deadeners?

I was gonna use some old mousepads and line the inside of the case with those. Any kind of dense foam or rubber would work I believe..
