Download the chrome channel changer 2.0 and switch to Dev mode, restart the browser, update to the latest version and it will have the auto complete and what ever else they threw in there.
Seems to be pretty sweet so far to me.
I play around with it every now and then.
The thing I hated with chrome was no auto complete but that is now fixed after I downloaded the chrome channel changer and switch to Dev mode.
Try Dev mode and maybe it will help your problem.
The browser is nice and fast..
I uninstall IE8 and went back to IE7 a few months back and can't remember why.
I still use Firefox but maybe I should give IE8 another try.

Norton 2007 had the live update where I could see each update and the progress as it was downloading.

Just to let everyone know that dclive's Bluescreens site help me in solving my BSOD problem.
After finding out what was causing the problem with the debugging tools I was able to roll back that latest driver and have not had a BSOD in 3 days.

Just got off the phone with HP and they had me roll back the driver in the device manager.
Now I have 7.68.0.0 instead of 7.69.0.0 for that HSX_CNXT.sys driver and hope it works.
If I still get a BSOD, I'll just go out and purchase an new modem and give that a try.
