It's a k6-2 500. I can OC it to 550 but then i'm running at 95F. I think that to hot. So for now I'm keeping it stock until I get that heatsink off. I thinks I'm going to try the rubbing alcohol tonight.

I've done some backpacking along the John Muir myself, It's been along time. I've never left Huntington Lake w/ out catching a few Rainbow Trout. At Huntington Lake we always stay at the Billy Creek Campground. I've reel(pun) close to a nice cove w/ good fly fishing.

if you using a 2 stick of mem that run at different speeds, you need to make shure that you set the motherboard settings for the memory to the slowest speed. in this case 100mhz. If you have the setting at 133 that could be the cause of the system not booting up.
