Your right I can change the timings on my memory. I just had to turn autotiming off to see the ras, cas, etc options.
I set loosened my timings to 6-6-6-15, increased the mem voltage from 2.1v to 2.2v and raise my mch an additional +0.15v...
Also you should be aware that those windows memtests aren't 100% reliable.

Well i set my ram for 1:1 ratio with fsb at 295mhz (cpu 2650mhz, tjunction @ ~60C full load on Orthos small tff)
I've run Orthos Small, Large & Blend for each 4 hours a piece with no errors.
I ran memtest86+ 1.70 for 10 hours with zero errors.
So I tried to increase fsb to 310mhz with 1:1...

When I used to have my memory at stock frequency I ran memtest86+ 4 seprate times for about 8-10 hours each time. THe first time I ran it, i got an error in a certain location in memory, but having run it 3 more times I never can get anymore errors.

My current OCZ DDr2 800 Platinum rev2 memory(based off the PROmos chip) is only stable @400mhz and OCed up to ~450mhz(ddr2 900)
and when I try to lower memory frequency to 333mhz(667) then overclocking till the memory reaches 388mhz(777) its unstable. I don't know why that would be.

I have an MSI P965 mobo that I'd like to overclock further but at 2.65ghz (~250mhz OC) my OCZ memory is already at 885mhz. I obviously can't keep pushing memory like that if I want to reach 2.8ghz or 2.9ghz

Well according to cpu-z I'm in dual channel mode.
I'm just wondering cuz been getting some pretty crappy scores on certain tests on CPUMARK.
Compared to some of the built in baselines on CPUMARK i'm slower on the CPU integer test by a factor of 2.5x compared to a core2 e6700 @ 2.66ghz...
PC Accelerator Magazine (rip 2002) had the best most hilarious videogame review, especially for shitty games. They ripped into games way before other review sites and magazines started doing it. IGN and these other reviewer are mearly copycatting what PC Accelerator started.
I follow what you are saying... so the particular mobos the top benchers have allowes them to go dual channel by inserting the ramsticks into the #1st and #3rd slot?
I'm guessing mine isn't capable of that.
For me the 1st and 2nd slots are both orange & close together. And the 3rd and 4th...
On the 3dmark site top scorers put the ram sticks in the 1st and 3rd slot, I heard that disables dualchannel capabilities...
Is that so they are farther apart and can be cooled better?
I usually have my ram in the same PAIR of slots eg(#1 & #2) or (#3 & #4)
