Geforce 2mx. Saw one on price watch for like $110 It was an Inno3d card but the site that's selling it Ocie.com had a good rate on resselleratings.com. Worth a shot. Cheap and HUGE performance.
Windows 98 3rd edition is what they should have called it. Either that or upgrade your OS, even though you can download must of the improvements off the net for free. Media Player 7, IE 5.5. I'm not excited about ME.
If it's run once from being logged on as admin, you should just be able to start the browser and the IC wizard shortcut should dissapear. At least it worked that way for me.
I have a 45X afreey drive in one of my PC's and haven't a problem with it. On the other hand i had a name brand in another box that craped out on me. And i have found good performance turning off UDMA in the bios on the cdrom and setting DMA in the OS for that drive.
