Plz help, getting internal error with wmp 8

Hi.. I'm running winxp pro, and for all the sudden I'm getting internal error in windows mediaplayer 8. There is no information on the error message.. only choice I have is to press ok. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

uhm.. doh.. found out why games did not work.. the geforce fan was dead... glowing gfx card anyone.. :) well changed the cpu fan.. works like a sharm now..

MSI K7D Master

Hi... I have just boght (been running for 4 days) the mdi k7d master and werry happy with it.... My setup is k7d master 2x xp1800 512+256 mem ddr reg twinmos ram msi geforce pro 2 realtek 10/100 nic terrate sixpack 5,1+ etc have been 100% stable for photoshop 6 Lightwave 7,b music, mp3 etc...

Hi.. thx for the reply. The system is going to be used for my 3D app, and I won't need more then 1gig of mem.. so if I can use non reg type ram it would be easyer for me to take the change to dual.

I'm thinking of upgrading to a dual system (msi k7d master). I'm wonderng.. do I really need to use reg memory? or can I go away with ecc mem?.. I will end up with 2 mem sticks on the system.

RAM question for 3ds max

Well I can't speak for 3Dmax since I'm a lw user.. but they should be working the same way. 512mb ram should be enough for starters. It all depends on how complex meshes and environments he wish to use. Rendering a scene and having not enough ram for textures will punish rendering time. I use...

Hi... I need to run safetp on my system (my ftp access is demanding that we use this). But after I instal this all internet trafick goes dead. Like everything is blocked by this program. I guess that safetp and winxp are not highly compatible, but there should be a work around.. any suggestions?

Whats best for audio use, w2k or xp pro?

I'm building a computer for a friend of mine.. he is a "hobby" guitarist.. and will use the computer mainly to compose music, He has also bought a rather pro audio card. I guess w2k would be suited best for his needs.. but how is w2k on this?.. Most tasks will be audio recording/sampling...

Hi.. dual view worked perfectly with w2k, but in winxp it don't work at all.. has anyone here managed to make this work with winx? I'm using tvtool v4,8 (have tryed the latest demo version) msi geforce 2 pro tryed latest official nvidia drivers and beta drivers.

Damn, I can't get my agfa snapscan p1212 to work with w2k...

I have tryed all settings in bios for the paralell port, non seems to work with the scanner in w2k. It works perfectly in win98se. And since I do all my work in w2k it is anoying to boot to win98se just to scan a image... has anyone had this problem and solved it?
