Old AMD CPU overheating strangely

Could be the BIOS. One of my motherboards (Abit, maybe) needed a BIOS update to fix improperly reported temperatures. I think it still wigs out.

I am ashamed of my CPU and MOBO!

SATA-IDE Bilateral Converter Board

Be very careful with these devices... I had a different one (2 actually)... More circuit-board-y... Anyhow, it corrupted my hard drive. Unreliable. System would freeze using Sisoft Sandra.... I don't know if this device is better or not.

Be careful with HDMI audio - I'm just speculating - since it might not do DDL encoding, which you'd need if you wanted to play games, etc.

Thanks OP. Just got home with one. The insert key is to the right of F12. Why does Logitech have to F with the Insert/Home/PgUp/Delete/End/PgDown Grouping... This is my 2nd logitech keyboard like this... Very odd. If I had remembered/noticed this defect, I would've not bought... But now...

Overclocking Help / Guide for X2 CPUs

I have 2 AMD 3600+ X2 systems that I have not yet overclocked, but given the abilities of this chip, I know I should be doing it.... One has an Abit NF-M2 nView motherboard, the other has a Biostar TFORCE 7050-M2, both should be decent overclockers... Anyone ever laid out a step-by-step...
