Before ordering something from Microcenter it will say "usually ships within ?-?? business days." On the card in question it says 5-7 business days before you even put the card into the cart. Something to look for before ordering from them next time.
I completely agree that paying a mark up because something is new or is low in supply sucks the big one. With that said MSRP is manufactures suggested retail price key word being suggested. It is not manufactures required retail price.
The Diamond website says the core clock is 825. Seems they also have a 512mb version. I have not seen the 512 version yet.
