Hmm. Though I can deal with this ghosting I just have the feeling that there are better options out there. Are there any resources that talk about the blackout problem, and are you aware of which GFX configurations cause this blackout?

500gigs shown as 390gigs.

Doing the calculations, I should have ~465gigs, yet I have 390 (shown as 419,000,000,000 bytes). I've heard of not the entire drive space showing up, but don't know much about it. Does anyone?

Is my memory serving me correctly when recalling that the FP241W had response time issues that the (now discontinued) Z variant rectified? I'm skeptical about dropping $1K on a monitor so this may prove to be a keeper. If I can locate one, is the Z variant worth the $150 premium?

It's been a while. I'm one of the few 2407WFP-HC owners that experience the I'm sure aforementioned ghosting issue, and I believe I've got until 11/08 to make a decision as to what to do with it. While I could live with it, it is noticeable and gets irritating in games. So my question...

A comment on the ghosting issue I previous stated on the 2407WFP-HC. While it is possible to detect ghosting in FPSs, so far during regular play I find that I never notice it. If I stop immersing myself in the game and deliberately look for ghosting, it's apparent, but during regular play it...

I just tested out UT2k4, and there was definitely some noticeable ghosting. If I'm not paying attention/focusing on it, it almost gives the feeling of bloom, a kind of surreal brightness with darkened edges. But standing in front of a pillar and strafing back and forth there is an obvious...

New system, new power supply?

Would the signs of a 12v rail inefficiency be the same as a power supply that doesn't supply enough watts? What were the signs of 12v lack of amps? I only ask because I'm building a rig almost similar to yours (Q6600 GO stepping, and the 640mb EVGA 8800 GTS) and have a power supply (520w)...

Is the PowerStream 520w enough?

That'd be great news, though I'm still skeptical about the 12v rail at 33a considering the amount of talk stipulating a required 40a+ for a C2Q. Especially if I'm going for a heavy overclock. But then again, I have no idea, which is why I'm asking; that and I'm paranoid.
