Why does 2600XT work so bad in XP?

According to the benchmarks,2600xt's performance improves greatly in Vista.Is it the problem of drivers,or other reasons?I think 2600xt should be faster than 8600gts,not only in some games.Will 2600xt improve by the drivers are updating?

As what i have known,ABIT IP35 is a good p35 mobo with stable performance and it's good for oc.Can you give your view about this mobo?

Which P35 mobo suits me?

I'm choosing a P35 mobo.Gigabyte P35C-DS3R ASUS P5K and ABIT IP35-E seem is my good choice.I just want my new mobo can have some oc potential,bacause I'm not a oc fan.What's important,the new mobo should be running stablely.And I hope it can be a little cheaper. Forgive my poor English

P35 or 650i or 680i LT

I'm asking for my new computer.I asked whether I should choose P35 or not yesterday and I decide to choose the Gigabyte P35C-DS3R.But today,I suddenly found the nvidia's 680i LT is the same price as the Gigabyte one.That makes me confused.Which should I choose?

Do I need P35?

I want to buy a new computer with Intel E4300 or higher.But I can't make a decision in the mobo whether P35 or 965.As is known to us,p35 has many lastest technology,but I think some are useless to me.Can you give me some advice?Any advice is appreciate.
