Corsair or Antec?

Dear Kekewy, why going for the CP1000 and compare it? I don't know your exact criteria but you can go easily with an Antec TruePower New 750W which is just 99$ at Newegg for example. With that unit you can't do anything wrong, you have nice voltage stability, good efficiency, cable management...

It's good you have such a confidence but before the whole unit wasn't fully tested again how can you be so sure it's only efficiency and only 2% max? Let's wait and see, anything else is a waste of time :)

Of course if you compare to cheaper brands, but most of the high-end brands can do the trick and deliver more than expected. That's nothing magical only Corsair can do ;)

You're absolutely right. Kidding, right? There is like nothing Corsair does better. In fact most of their PSUs are from the technical point less worth, depending on wattage etc.

Suggested PSU Upgrade with my current i7 rig

Normally I would agree with you since most companies put a 5$ PSU in - but the PSUs that are coming with the Antec cases are the same as they are in retail. Trader05, you will be fine with the setup.

Using 2 PSUs?

The CP850 is totally enough for now, even you are planning on SLI now in two years you might even not getting anything compatiple anymore. So either CP850 or consider the TruePower New 750W.
