My oc was running fine but would not like to reboot
instead of rebooting it would keep cycling on and off and never actually turn back on, only way to get it back on was to unplug the power.
I reset the bios to default settings and it reboots fine
I have run orthos and memtest and found...
Just about every time I set the system to reboot thru windows vista it will shut down, then it will begin to start but then power off again, then try to start, and keep looping like that. During this time it never sends a signal to the monitor either.
The only way to get it to stop and turn...
Yea not a rich guy
just wanted a top notch system and video card was where I went cheap.
What about the ultra?
Still not worthwhile?
I guess it would make more sense to just save a little more for a little longer and get the new card when it comes out.
I currently have a 8800gts 640
I had planned to step up with hopes of maybe new gen cards coming out, but that didnt happen.
I seriously doubt I'll be spending the money for the full price of the yet to be released new cards
so I'll be using whatever I have/step up to for a while
so...
Ever since I upgraded to vista I can not get a disc image of a dvd, That I own, to burn properly.
I have always used nero in the past, but it seems to only make coasters.
If I boot into xp then it burns just fine.
is there something I am missing?
I was going to stop by microcenter later and saw that they have wuite a few cpu coolers, and since I am still using the stock intel one I thought maybe one would be worth it.
microcenter
You get what you pay for
I would consider this burner junk
Many wasted discs, and also does not like to read discs burnt on older liteon
discs get displaced almost every time you eject, also mentioned in the newegg reviews.
I would not buy this drive
ultima 90
Well it's smaller and lighter and yet gives the same performance
but my wallet will probably win out and I might just get the tuniq
question about the tuniq, the fan is encased inside?
Can it be changed?
I noticed a very minimal temp increase, 1-2 degrees, going from 2.6 to 3.2
but I did not have to increase the voltage so maybe that is why.
@ 3.2 my cores max out at 61c on orthos
I am going to pick up an untima 90 and see how cool I can get the thing and then see where this chip...
I am using the stock intel cooler and after I removed the stock paste from the bottom I applied a thin layer os AS5 to the bottom of the heatsink.
I covered the entire flat surface of the cooler
My temps seem fine, but was this a bad idea?
I got my Ballistix to their rated 800MHz 4-4-4-12 on the mobo default 1.8v
Does that mean these should oc really well with more voltage?
or does that not mean anything?
it might wind up there
it works fine on the old computer so it is not the router
how do I change the ip of the new computer so it is in the same range as the router?
wow
so if I tweak the settings this ram could go that high?
I still need to run memtest again, I had the ram accidentally underclocked when I ran it last time.
I now have it set at it's rated speed and timings
The 900 really is a kickass case for cooling, right now the front fans are set on low, rear exhaust on med and the top exhaust on high.
The window fan is set by smartfan
I still need the extra fan for the back of the hd cage to blow directly on the ram/nb/cpu
My temps are actually the...
The C version has physical differences from the S version that in some cases can never be overcome. Google is your friend
In fact there is another panel that started to show up before samsung made it impossible to tell what panel you were getting.
If you are buying a C panel why not go to the...
I have 2x1 gig Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 which is rated at 2.2V
it is in a GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3R motherboard
Now I am a total novice to these things
I thought the board used 1.8V for the memory
It is running fine in the system, but I was wondering if I should worry about the...
yes and yes
I think this might be the problem but don't knoe how to fix it.
Should I try to assign a ip to the computer that is within the range of the router?
if so how?
I have read many different methods that people have used to apply as5
personally I spread a thin even layer on the bottom of the hs with my finger in a clean plastic bag
Seems to have worked fine
I don't think comcast uses mac authentication acording to stuff I read on dsl reports.
All the settings are the same on the old computer and the router works fine
the modem works fine on the new conputer, but when I hook up the router I get no connection
I can not even access the...
