Thanks so much for all the input guys! Looks like I'll be holding off on upgrading until a major increase presents itself. Perhaps I'll just splurge on a few games and a new headset (don't like my A40s). I appreciate it!

Need some advice for selecting first z68 board

Yep.. my system seems to lag a lot more while playing Black Ops, or even WoW. A lot more than my GTX 460 did. As far as benchmarks are concerned, It's safe to say that someone who has a very similar system to me, should get the same marks as I do. I could see maybe a 300-500 point difference...

No.. my WEI is like 6.0 for graphics... there's no reason why it should be that low with a 6990.. PLUS i ran 3dmark 11 and scored about 3k lower than similar rigs.. 2k alone in the vid area. I am pretty sure this motherboard/cpu is holding my gpu back.

Now see... I thought about doing that as well, but I'm pretty sure this motherboard is bottlenecking the GPU considerably. So if I was to replace the motherboard, I may as well go with current gen stuff and get a new cpu while I am at it.. that's my thought process, anyhow.

TBH, I always cleaned my own carpets on off time from work. They allowed me to drive home after hours and clean my house for free. I am not sure on the pricing of a rug doctor, I am sorry :( The MAIN thing is to get it cleaned right away, before it can do some permanent damage to your carpet...

It sounds like it may have soaked thru to the backing/padding of your carpet. If that is the case, the best thing to do is rent a rug doctor and steam clean your carpet. You'll need something hot enough to really break up all the nasties on your backing, and enough suction power to try and clean...

Well, I got ahold of a local no-kill shelter and they are on their way to getting cleaned up and adopted :) I wish I could've kept them, as they are damn cute!

Good info! Thank you! I'll be damned if I send these kittens off to be euthanized. I'd take out a small $500 loan and have them cleaned up, spayed/neutered and adopted out before I send them off to their death. I am hoping it won't come down to that, as I couldn't afford it, but I am still...

I sure hope so Source. I'd really hate for things like that to happen. I wonder if the whole "touching" bit is true to birds? I've heard a lot of people say that if you try to handle a baby bird, the mother will abandon it (just like this kitten dilemma).

Indeed! Damn me for living in the middle of nowhere! LOL. I feel the best course of action would be to get these kittens spayed/neutered and put up for adoption. I just wish I had the money to get that done. I would gladly do all that myself, but our budget is super-thin as it is :(

Thank you all for the knowledge and information about shelters/humane society..etc! I am going to be making a few calls here in just a minute, and I am going to find out the kill policy of animals at the H.S, and if I don't like it I won't give them up. Granted these are some ADORABLE kittens...
