So the Russians and Syrians failed to shoot down any missiles and they go pick up the bits of their failed missiles that crashed into the ground and take pictures of them?
It is pretty damn hard to shoot down missiles with more missiles so I would lean towards the folks on the defensive much...
OK then, I'm just talking about posting to indeed...
But on that topic is it pretty damn reasonable to ask for education and experience relevant to the position. I'm not a 'hiring manager', just trying to find a decent sys admin.

Just wondering, does anyone ever posts tech jobs on forums? I have a feeling that must be against some sort of rule.
Being not from the United States myself, anyone have tips on good places for finding IT staff?
Well now that we have seen the Fury X reviews looks like I should buy a 980 Ti to run 3440x1440. Looks like I'll have to shell out that extra money for a gsync screen, oh well.
Yeah I got a view of the Witcher 3 4K (the game I currently care about) and it has a decent edge on 980 ti. They focused a lot on OC benchmarks, I don't usually bother overclocking my graphics cards. I prefer to have stability over a couple frames more performance. However it leaves me with...
I have a hard time trusting these numbers, they don't seem to line up with the other numbers that have been released. So much anticipation here it's hard not to jump on the first review that comes out. I would love for there to be a good card to run a freesync configuration but at that price...
As I am locked in to buying from a specific retailer I won't be able to get that deal because they don't carry PNY cards. But thanks for pointing that out!
My summary from this discussion is, wait for a bit see how it goes. I think the only thing that might make me choose nvidia over AMD is the lack of 3440x1440 Freesync monitors.
Yeah the Canadian dollar's current value makes any sort of spending questionable but who knows when it will get anywhere close to being on par with USD again.
I'm trying to argue for that too, no success so far. The only real negative about the 960 is that is has a smaller memory interface 128bit vs 256bit.
Most benchmarks have the 960 ahead of the 670.
Good question, It sounded like I can wait until the end of the month to make a final decision. I do have the money saved up, I just wasn't planning to spend that much on graphics. I've never paid more than about $400 for a card.
Hey folks, I could use a second opinion on a hardware decision.
My GTX 670 is being replaced by a local retailer under warranty and they offered a GTX 960 which is worth $270. FYI I live in Canada and our prices suck.
I convinced them to let me pay to get a better card. I'm debating...
Just because someone was victimized doesn't make them perfect and blameless. If he was better at handling difficult actors/presenters like Jeremy he could have deescalated the situation.
But really, why can't he take a hit to the face for the sake of something bigger than him.
A timeout, sure. Firing him, not so much. Make him do a series if public service announcements condoning violence? Some form of punishment, training etc. This result just feels shitty.
So you are happy about it? Do you hate Top Gear? How is this a good thing?
Oison Tymon should have just hit him back and been done with it. Prissy little shit had to go and ruin a good tv show.
I stick to what I said earlier, they paid him to be an arrogant ape of a man, and that's what he played on camera and off. It's not about the money. Firing people don't fix them or their problems. It's just spiteful to talk like that.
Also there has been new insights into the situation which...
It's not like he is just the guy who works in the sales office around the corner from your cubicle. I don't think you can hold him to the same workplace standards that you would hold everyone else to. Also it has been said that he didn't punch his producer, he "smacked" him. Whatever that...
I submit the following for your consideration:

1. The internet
2. Space flight (man on the moon)
3. Top Gear

This isn't a debate on whether he committed a crime or if it should be punished. They shouldn't fire him over it because they are literally paying him to be himself on camera. You can't expect Jeremy Clarkson to attract the audience he does while being well behaved.
So by no means is he...
Seconded, he is being paid to be a douche. He just really lives the character he portrays and is the type of talent that requires a handler.
Come on BBC, get him back on the screen and just cut a better contract with him where he has to pay up every time he makes a douche-maneuver (punches...
You know you can look at it more directly if you look at the proportion of followers to nutters. There are clearly a heck of a lot of followers of the Muslim faith who seem willing to commit blatant atrocities in the name of their faith.
It's kinda like the price/performance ratio applied to...
Dictionaries only work when there is no mechanism that locks out accounts for repeated failed password attempts. So a computer can't hammer Facebook.com with a million different password combinations over 20 minutes to break into your account because the Facebook server knows what is up.
