2nd Display adds 10C to idle GPU Temps?

Reallly... How hard is that to arrange? my MB has Integrated intel 4000 graphics I think... may have to look into that. It still allows for "extended" desktop I assume?

Ahh okay thanks for the replies... It just seemed off to me, I don't really know why adding an extra display would jack up the temp so much. Espec when idle since we aren't doing much.

2nd Display adds 10C to idle GPU Temps?

Is this common? System specs should be in my signature. Right now with 2 displays on (24" Main and 18" Secondary) my Idle GPU temp is 51C If I disable that 2nd monitor the Idle GPU temp drops to 42C. Haven't yet tested it while gaming with the 2nd monitor off, when I was playing Bioshock...

What is your Mount Rushmore of PC games?

I loved that freaking game, and played WAY WAY WAY to much... Camping houses that were about to decay was some of the most epic all nighters I can remember. Would have 3-4 friends all with 2-3 characters logged out in the area if we knew a specific time for the collapse we'd all log on 5 mins...

today I switched from Nook to a Kindle

I still have and use my 2nd gen 3G Kindle from like 2009 almost every day. I feel like its time for an upgrade, but it still works and does what its supposed to do (display text for me to read...) so I haven't justified buying a new one. When I do upgrade I'll definetly go with another Kindle...

OEM Extended Battery for Galaxy S3?

I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy 3 running the stop Samsung/Verizon stuff not rooted or rom'd... I work in a basement where I have spotty signal... goes from absolutely nothing to 1-2 bars of 3g, never 4g and never a full set of bars. It easily drains 10% battery per hour just sitting on my desk...

add me "Reshals42" is my origin tag Ive been playing on the US East1 but don't mind changing, im not terribly attached to Failville, Crisistown, or Whateverman I've made so far... :) I usually make one of the 4 lanes off the main highway into my land area... I use this as the main boulevard...

I was able to play mid morning on release day... then again mid morning the day after... played for about 3-4 hours both times. Did have a city rolled back/disappear after starting to see server connection lost during the game on the 2nd day. Even tho there was that msg saying connection...

I've only got about 3100 battles even though my account creation date is very close to when the game first came out... I quit playing for like 7-8 months to play SWTOR and GW2 ... Anyway... My biggest tanks are only Tier8 Pershing, and IS3... I also bought the Super P premium for crew...

Temps were always good ... and I had these errors while running it at Stock settings. I did OC it some as well but it never mattered as far as the artifacts were concerned. Temps while playing World of Tanks or SWTOR or Guild Wars were always in mid 60C. Temps playing Farcry3 or Crysis2...

Looking for the smallest 32GB USB 3.0 drive available

VDDC Current fluctuations in 1 game

I have HWMonitor and dont see an options for VDDC Current monitoring in that... Also have MSI Afterburner and don't remember seeing it there but I need to look again. Do you know of another program I could use to see that?

While playing different games, and normal use, and even a couple "stability" tests I noticed what I think are highly irregular fluctuations in the VDDC Current readings in GPU-Z So my system: ASRock Extreme4 Seasonic X650 Gold i5-3570k @ 4.0ghz - Stock voltage settings 8gb G.Skill 1600...

MSI R7950 OC Twin Frozr - Temps/Fan Speed

Just had some weird artifacts appearing in World of Tanks and I had not changed any settings from what I was running at all weekend... The only difference is that I had GPUZ open to its "Sensors" tab on the 2nd monitor. I closed that out and the artifacts went away. Weird... Didnt notice that...

MSI R7950 OC Twin Frozr - Temps/Fan Speed

Mine is the 7970 PCB because it has the 6pin and 8pin power connectors... And while I've seen some negative reviews on poor TIM application from the factory for some of these MSI Cards mine seems to be fine judging by the temps I am seeing. I'd be happy with around 1100 Core / 1400...

Created a custom fan profile using MSI Afterburner to keep my card in the low 60's... OC'd to 1000mhz Core / 1350 Memory @ 1.081v Using the MSI AB and GPUZ to monitor temps the core stays around 63-65 playing some games (Not any of the super hardcore games tho) like World of Tanks...

New Computer - weird graphics/display problem

Okay I think it is the HDMI input on the monitor... I had an old HDMI to DVI cable (seriously 4-5 years old) I plugged it into the HDMI on Video Card to DVI on Monitor and it works beautifully.... The only issue is this cable is 15 feet long~~ Thats a lot of extra cable behind my desk LOL
