Great find OP...definitely jumping on it when available. The licensing for this software is great as it includes lifetime updates and multiple PC installs are allowed. Heard the interview with the author on Security Now and he sounds like a good guy, worth supporting his efforts with a few bucks..

I also like partitioning for the OS but I'm always torn on what to do with the extra space. Because the drives are so large today, I have a 500GB drive for my media and a 640GB drive for my OS. When I partition 100 of the 640GB for the OS and programs, I have a huge partition left for possible...

Yea, this deal specifically stated not to send in anything but the card. It even stated that the original box is "not suitable" for shipping and "do not include accessories". I suppose I was put on the back burner due to the holidays, but an email would have been nice... It's been nearly 3 weeks...

Does anyone know if the install file you download for the Vista Upgrade is the same as what you would get if bought retail in a box? I've tried to contact Microsoft and ask directly but I got no actual answer.

Alright thanks for the quick response. I agree about memory being overpriced but I was actually able to pick up some OCZ for $90 (OTD), which is actually cheaper than much of the ValueRAM, so I figured why not. I just ordered the board for my new build...can't wait to witness the double boot...
Where can I find a list of compatible memory for this board (ip35-E)? Many mobo manufacturers' websites list the compatible/recommended memory brands but I do not see this information anywhere on the Abit site. Am I just blind? THanks

Regarding the double boot issue during startup, is the -E the only one of these in the series that has this problem, or is the abit ip35 plagued with this issue as well? Also, is it realistic to expect a bios update that would take care of the issue? thanks
First, let me say that this thread has been the most useful review/discussion regarding the abit ip35 series boards I have seen after much searching, so thanks SerpentRoyal; this thread was the reason I joined Anandtech :) I have a noob question before I pull the trigger on this board-...
