Is Intels i5-3570k worth it?

Yes it's worth it. My old set-up was Q9450 and EP45-UD3P and went to 1155 with the i5-3570K and Asrock Z77 Extreme4.

Only thing new coming is the 7890 aka 7870 Tahiti with 1536sp due out Tuesday. Club 3D and PowerColor released already but not in US.

2.0 seems ok, that's what I had on when I changed the ram. I know what you're saying about the board being picky for 2133 and voltage. I have always used G. Skill but discovered that they only qualified their's up to 1866 and 1.5v. Even the Trident 2400 they say 3570 and 3770 work but on their...

e8400 E0 stuck temp sensor?

FSB OverVoltage Setting

toadeater, question for you I was under the impression with the DS3L there was no way to monitor the temps on the NB or SB. If I'm incorrect that would be great since that would be a great help. I've been leary to add any voltage other than vcore and ram. Thanks
